Barons de Rothschild Brut sparkling wine. This wine is produced with boiling in the bottle method. Wine with protected designation of origin. All Barons de Rothschild Champagnes possesses exceptional features of splendid champagne. This cuvée is a result of complex connection, that is, complex blend of 60% chardonnay (entirely from vineyard of Grand cru category from the Côte des Blancs), and 40% Pinot noir and Pinot meunier (mostly from Verzenay, Ay, Mareuil-sur-Ay and Bouzy villages). The champagne is of light golden color combined with fine bubbles that carry dense, constant foam. The smell carries pear and almond aroma with the note of white flowers. Strong and accentuated at first, leading up to a well rounded taste; a sign of long ageing in traditional wine cellars.
